Since 1998, West Point Carpet One Floor & Home has served greater Greeley, offering the finest in flooring and services in the region. Founded by longtime flooring installer Rocky Gentry, our store has experienced rampant change and growth over the years. Aiming to open a small-town, customer-focused business, Rocky purchased The Rug Company in 1998, later naming it West Point Interiors. At the time, Rocky’s son, Tyler, was in college working part time at the store while obtaining his college degree in Elementary Education.

With the store booming, the growth pattern and need for additional management led Tyler to come on full-time in 2004. In 2008 Rocky, Tyler, and longtime project manager Mike Hergenreter joined the Carpet One cooperative. The move allows us to magnify the purchasing power for the products we install and then pass along the savings to our customers.

Today, our focus on family and community remains strong. Rocky is now retired and enjoying time with his beautiful wife and family. He continues to work at West Point Carpet One ensuring we provide the best customer service in the industry, with Tyler now taking the wheel as owner and operator. Tina Gentry, a cousin-in-law, is our Business Manager, and Christen Ruth, a sister-in-law, is one of our lead Project Managers.

In total, we currently operate as a close-knit team of over twenty full-time staff and over forty subcontractors, working together to provide the finest in flooring, installations, and related services.
